The Oxford Igbo Union is holding its annual lecture at Oxford Brookes on 26 August 2017. The theme of the lectureIs Igbo Language in Danger of Extinction?

It will look at:

  1. The reasons why Igbo language is in decline;

  2. What efforts are currently being made to keep it;

  3. What needs to be done in the future to ensure the continuation of the language?
